I really hate when every news site / blog / forum (choose your favorite) gets filled with christmas / new year greetings around this time of year so I thought I should do the same and share the love. So happy new year 2009 everybody!

I have a couple of ideas for the coming year considering this site. I will probably keep the blog running and keep posting about my current interests, such as PS3 gaming. I was also thinking about writing about the progress of my master’s thesis, which has been “work-in-progress” for the last two years. The subject has changed at least three times and I have currently zero pages ready, but I made a promise to get it done this year (during the spring even!). So, I thought it would be a great way to motivate myself.. That is, posting regularly of it and about the topics I’m currently investigating. Oh, the subject is Test-Driven development, if you didn’t know. The actual thesis will be written in finnish so I won’t be doing any copy/paste stuff, unless, I start posting in finnish too. That’s another thing I’ve been thinking about, but I think I’ll stick with english, for the moment at least. God knows I need the practice that comes with it.

What else? Hmm, nothing much I guess. Displayofpatience.net will still remain as a playground for me, a place to share some thoughts between friends and random visitors. But please, comment the posts, will you?
